The Priority Health Academy (PHA) is the educational arm of Carolina Holistic Medicine, established to serve a growing need in healthcare: training clinicians who are ready to move beyond the limitations of conventional medicine and into a more effective, more sustainable model of healthcare.
Founded by Dr. JP Saleeby, MD, the Academy is built around what he calls r-FxMed — reformed Functional Medicine — a rigorously developed paradigm that blends the best of conventional allopathic medicine with functional, integrative, and holistic approaches. Since 2018, PHA has been training physicians, nurse practitioners, physician associates, chiropractors, and other advanced providers to replicate this model in their own practices.
In 2024, the Priority Health Academy established several online platforms to expand its mission to make this education accessible to clinicians across all fifty states and internationally. These platforms make online learning self-paced, efficient and affordable.
Our mission is to restructure healthcare delivery through a parallel or better said "perpendicular" healthcare system — training the next generation of clinicians in a reformed model of functional medicine that prioritizes patient advocacy, outcomes, clinical sustainability, and professional satisfaction.
If you are a non-clinician the PHA is open for membership in a more basic format. We do wish to educate the public as well.

Monthly Masterclasses
Live virtual learning sessions via Zoom covering functional medicine topics, clinical case studies, and the latest in integrative and restorative medicine. All sessions are recorded and archived for members.
Live Q&A Sessions
Direct access to Dr. Saleeby and guest faculty for real-time clinical questions, case discussions, and ongoing mentorship.
Active Community
Members join an active Signal group chat for peer discussion, clinical support, and ongoing learning between sessions.
Clinical Rotations
On-site clinical rotations available at our Mt. Pleasant, SC office for hands-on immersion in the CHM practice model.
Annual Symposium
Access to the PHA Annual Symposium — a virtual event featuring a dozen or more lectures from luminaries in functional, integrative, and holistic medicine. Symposiums go live every July 15th. Access to all past symposiums is included with membership.
Certification Exam
When you're ready — typically after one to two years in the program — members are eligible to sit for the PHA certification exam. The exam is open book and consists of two parts: Part One covers five clinical case studies, and Part Two focuses on functional medicine lab interpretation. Members who enroll before the end of 2026 receive the exam at no additional cost. The standard exam fee is $500.

$300 — One-Time Lifetime Membership Fee
No recurring fees. No annual renewals. One payment gives you lifetime access to the full PHA curriculum, community, masterclasses, symposiums, and certification pathway.
All members sign a simple NDA to protect the intellectual property of the Academy.
Members who enroll before December 31, 2026 receive the certification exam ($500 value) at no additional cost.
